If you do not know which of the two operations you need, say so when you call rather than guessing. The two were consolidated with the neighbouring Phakisa mine in 2017 and the split between North and South is an internal one, so a switchboard can redirect you far faster than you can work it out from outside.

Reporting a problem at Tshepong
- Start at the operation switchboard, then head office on 011 411 2000, and keep a reference number.
- For a mine health and safety matter, the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy inspectorate is the regulator.
- For anything involving misconduct rather than service, use the Honesty Hotline rather than the switchboard.
The Honesty Hotline on 0800 204 256 takes anonymous reports of illegal or unethical activity at any Harmony operation, including procurement irregularity, illegal mining and safety concerns. It is toll free.
