Sappi Stanger Mill is at Gledhow Mount outside Stanger, now KwaDukuza, on the KwaZulu-Natal north coast. It is the mill that makes Typek, the office copier paper, which is why many enquiries reach it under the brand name rather than the Sappi one.
Local channels
- Stanger Mill: 032 437 2100, published by Sappi as +27 (0)32 437 2100
Sappi lists a named individual as the mill contact rather than a role mailbox, so that address is not reproduced here. It changes when the person moves; the switchboard does not.
Address
- Gledhow Mount, Stanger, 4450, South Africa
Services at this location
- Production of Typek copier paper, described by Sappi as ultra-white and acid- and lignin-free
- Cellulose derived from bagasse fibre, the residue left after sugar cane is crushed
- Valida L nanocellulose, used to replace synthetic compounds in cosmetics, agriculture and construction applications
Stanger is a manufacturing site, not a retail outlet. Paper is bought through Sappi distributors and retailers rather than at the mill gate.
