Old Mutual does not publish a telephone number for a wills department. Its wills, trusts and estates pages carry no contact number at all, so the route runs through the general service line or through an adviser.

Requirements

Old Mutual sells a will as a product, listed as Old Mutual Will, alongside estate planning within its financial advice range, and it offers a Create A Will tool among its online calculators. Because a will is drafted rather than bought off a shelf, most of the work happens with an adviser rather than over a service line, and Old Mutual runs a Find an Adviser route for that.

Escalation

The wills side is separate from the deceased estate process that follows a death, which is administered by the appointed executor under the Master of the High Court rather than by the company that drafted the will. A complaint about advice given when the will or estate plan was sold goes to the FAIS Ombud, while a complaint about an Old Mutual product goes to the National Financial Ombud.
