FNB International Contact Details

FNB does not publish separate international versions of its service numbers. Instead it uses one international access number that you dial first, and then enter the ordinary 087 number when prompted.

Task scope

This covers reaching any FNB desk from outside South Africa, and foreign exchange enquiries.

Requirements

You need the 087 number of the desk you actually want before you call, because the access line asks for it. FNB repeats this same instruction against every service on its contact directory, so the method is the same whichever department you need.

Steps

Dial +27 11 371 3711, wait for the prompt, then enter the 087 number for the desk. As examples of the numbers you might enter, digital banking support is 087 575 9404 and personal banking is 087 575 9408. Foreign exchange branches are reached directly on +27 11 352 5025 rather than through the access line, and trade on 08:15 to 16:30.

Escalation

Secure Chat inside the FNB App or online banking works from anywhere with a data connection and runs 24 hours a day, which avoids international call costs entirely. For a complaint, care@fnb.co.za is the published mailbox, and an unresolved banking complaint goes to the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900.
