FNB Legal Cover Contact Details

FNB legal cover is sold as Law on Call, and the personal plan and the business plan use different numbers. The personal plan is on 087 736 7773.

Product or service support

The same number covers sales, claims and administration on the personal plan, with option 1 for policy administration. Claims can also be lodged in the FNB App under Insure and then Claims, and cover can be taken up in the app through Product Shop, For Me, Insure and then Law on Call Personal Plan.

Eligibility, account or policy requirements

The business version of the product is a separate plan on 087 736 7777, with its own mailboxes for sales, claims and administration. Choosing the wrong one means the adviser cannot see your policy.

Escalation route

Because this is an insurance product rather than a bank account, a complaint about the cover goes to the National Financial Ombud, while a complaint about the advice given when it was sold goes to the FAIS Ombud.
