Offbeat is not one business. At least three unrelated South African companies trade under the Off Beat name, in three different industries and three different provinces, and each publishes its own contacts. Sending a query to the wrong one is the single most common reason an Offbeat enquiry goes unanswered, so identify which you need before you call.

The holiday club runs three separate desks and they are not interchangeable. Reservations and bookings go to customer care, anything about the membership itself or paperwork goes to the admin office, and an overseas resort exchange goes to the international desk on a Durban 031 number rather than the Pretoria one.
What this organisation provides
- Off Beat Holiday Club is a holiday club exclusive to members of the South African Police Service, giving access to more than 45 South African resorts, international resort exchanges and cruises
- Off Beat PLUS is a separate additional membership on top of the holiday club, managed by First Group on 031 717 7660
- Off Beat Safaris and Bush Lodge is a lodge in the Greater Kruger area, also offering horse trails, art and additional activities
- Off Beat Collective sells eco friendly tours
The SAPS restriction is the thing most people miss. The holiday club is not open to the general public, so if you are not a police service member the club membership is not available to you no matter which number you call.
Off Beat PLUS is worth separating in your head as well. It is an add-on sold on top of an existing club membership and it is administered by a different company, so a PLUS query answered by the club desk will often be referred on.

- Off Beat Safaris and Bush Lodge: in the Greater Kruger area of Limpopo, on the 015 dialling code, with the Northern Drakensberg range behind it
- Off Beat Collective publishes no street address and no telephone number, only an email address
- A further business trading as Offbeat operates in Gqeberha, but publishes no official website, so no number for it is listed here
That last point is deliberate. A Gqeberha number for an Offbeat business circulates on directory sites, but with no official source to check it against it is not repeated on this page.
Support and escalation routes
- Confirm which Off Beat you are dealing with before escalating, and quote the correct company name in writing
- Holiday club membership, billing or resort booking disputes: raise with the club on 012 349 2277 and keep your membership number
- Lodge booking disputes: raise with Off Beat Safaris on 015 793 2422, and remember a booking made through a travel platform is a dispute with that platform
- Unresolved consumer complaints in all three cases: Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, 0860 000 272, free of charge
For a holiday club in particular, get the cancellation terms and the annual levy position in writing before you sign. Long-term holiday products are among the most complained about consumer contracts in South Africa, and the terms rather than the sales conversation are what an ombud will look at later.
