ClearScore Contact Details
ClearScore has no customer service telephone number in South Africa. It is contacted through the chat in its app and help centre, or by email at help@clearscore.co.za, with complaints going to complaints@clearscore.co.za. We read these details on clearscore.com and help.clearscore.co.za on 23 September 2026.

If a website offers you a “ClearScore contact number”, check it against this page. ClearScore publishes no telephone number of its own anywhere on its South African site or in its help centre, so a number presented as theirs is somebody else’s.
How to reach ClearScore
Chat is the route ClearScore points people at first. It sits inside the app and on the help centre pages, and it is the channel its own articles name for queries about incorrect information on a credit report.
Email is the alternative. ClearScore’s terms and conditions name help@clearscore.co.za as the address for formal service of notices and documents as well as for complaints and queries, which makes it the address to use if you need a written record.
Post goes to Floor 2, 107 Bree Street, Cape Town City Centre. That is the address ClearScore itself gives for written complaints.
Making a complaint
Complaints go through the chat, to complaints@clearscore.co.za, or by letter to the Bree Street address.
ClearScore says it aims to reply within 24 to 48 hours with a full explanation. If it cannot resolve the complaint within three working days, it then has 30 days from that point to resolve it.
Quote the email address on your ClearScore account and describe the problem factually. Because there is no telephone channel, the written record is the whole case.
Credit report problems go to Experian
ClearScore is not a credit bureau. It shows you a report and score supplied by Experian, and it says so in its own help articles.
| Experian South Africa, consumer line | 0861 105 665 |
| Experian South Africa, consumer email | eza.consumer@experian.com |
ClearScore gives those details for a clearance letter, which it cannot issue itself. The same applies to anything that has to be changed at source on the underlying credit record.
Debt review entries are a third case again. ClearScore says that if you want to know how long you will remain under debt review, you must contact your own debt counsellor directly, because neither ClearScore nor the bureau decides that.
What ClearScore is and is not
ClearScore describes itself as an intermediary. It shows your credit score and report free, and it presents offers from lenders and partners it works with. It does not lend money itself.
That matters when you are trying to reach someone about a loan or a credit card you applied for through the app. The agreement is with the lender, not with ClearScore, and the lender’s own contact details are the ones that apply.
The service is free with no trial and no card details required, on ClearScore’s own terms. If something asks you to pay ClearScore for your score, it is not ClearScore.
Before you get in touch
Check the help centre first. It carries answers to the questions people most often write in about, including why a score dropped, when the report updates, and why a score may not show at all.
A missing score is usually a thin credit file rather than a fault. ClearScore explains that with no active accounts the bureau may be unable to verify your identity, and the score shows a question mark.
Use the email address registered on the account when you write in. It is what identifies you, since there is no account number and no telephone verification.
