To get a quote, Liberty says you can call, or fill in the online form on its Life Cover page and it will call you back. For a comprehensive life insurance quote, Liberty points you to a Liberty Financial Adviser or broker through its Talk to an Adviser link.

Policy support and self-service
Existing policyholders can manage cover without calling:
- MyLiberty: view your portfolio, download documents and manage your policies online.
- WhatsApp self-service on +27 860 456 789: policy documents, claims, tax certificates, financial adviser details and funeral quotes.
What the Life Cover product offers, according to Liberty:
- No set maximum on life cover. The final amount is set through financial underwriting.
- A choice of whole life or term cover.
- An Immediate Expenses Benefit, which can pay your family up to R100,000 within 48 hours of the life assured’s passing.
- A Terminal Illness Benefit, which pays the full sum assured early on a terminal diagnosis.
- Optional extras: the EduCator Benefit (tuition paid to the institution), a Funeral Benefit of up to R100,000, a Death Income feature, and a Wellness Bonus of up to 40% of premiums back.
Eligibility and policy requirements
Liberty Life Cover can be taken out for the principal life and a spouse. The minimum cover is R100,000 and the entry age is 15 to 80. There is no waiting period, but a health assessment is required. Liberty says cover includes clients living with HIV.
