MultiChoice is the company behind DStv and GOtv, and it sends all customer and service queries to its brands rather than handling them at corporate level. In South Africa, the MultiChoice customer service number is the DStv call centre on 011 289 2222, open every day including public holidays from 08:00 to 22:00, with WhatsApp self-service on 060 060 3788 and email at help@dstv.com. MultiChoice contact centre
MultiChoice’s own Contact Us page says: for all DStv or GOtv customer and service-related queries, visit dstv.com or gotvafrica.com, or contact your local MultiChoice office. The corporate page itself lists no phone number. In South Africa, the contact centre is therefore the DStv call centre on 011 289 2222, which DStv says handles general, billing and account queries. It does not run 24 hours: it closes at 22:00 and reopens at 08:00. Live chat on dstv.com runs from 07:00 to 23:00, and the WhatsApp line and USSD code work at any time for balances, error codes, transactions and reconnections.

DStv’s Polokwane centre is permanently closed for face-to-face service, and DStv refers visitors to Multinet, Shop 2, 24 Grobler Street, Polokwane Central.
MultiChoice Pietermaritzburg, Wynberg and Scottburgh
DStv’s current list of service centres does not include an office in Pietermaritzburg (PMB), Wynberg or Scottburgh, so an address, phone number or working hours for a “MultiChoice PMB” branch cannot be confirmed from DStv or MultiChoice. The nearest listed centres for KwaZulu-Natal customers are Durban Central and Umhlanga, both on 031 710 2222; Cape Town customers can use the N1 City centre on 021 508 2222. For most account tasks, you do not need to visit: use WhatsApp 060 060 3788, USSD *120*68584#, the MyDStv app or the call centre on 011 289 2222.
MultiChoice Namibia contact details
DStv Namibia’s contact page lists these channels for Namibian customers:
- WhatsApp: +264 811 450 101. Save the number, have your smartcard number and surname ready, say Hi and follow the prompts.
- USSD: dial *142*6688# from the mobile number registered on your account to check what you owe, fix errors, view transactions and reconnect.
- Email: dstvnamibia@multichoice.co.za
- Online chat and the MyDStv app on dstv.com/en-na.
DStv Namibia’s contact page does not list a 24-hour phone number. MultiChoice’s older local office documents give telephone numbers for its Windhoek office, but the numbers differ between documents, so use the WhatsApp line or email above and confirm any Windhoek number with DStv Namibia before relying on it.
MultiChoice complaints and corporate queries
Start a service complaint with the DStv call centre or help@dstv.com and keep the reference number. MultiChoice’s corporate enquiry form on multichoice.com also has a Complaint category. For complaints about the television service that DStv does not resolve, the South African regulator is ICASA, on 012 568 3000 or consumer@icasa.org.za. Media and general corporate queries go to info@multichoiceafrica.com, and MultiChoice publishes its procurement terms and conditions on multichoice.com.
