The UNISA contact number is Unisa’s centralised toll-free line, 0800 00 1870, answered by the Student Communication Centre from 08:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00 to 14:00 on Saturdays. The UNISA enquiry email for general and misdirected enquiries is enquire@unisa.ac.za, and applications and registration queries for undergraduate qualifications go to study-info@unisa.ac.za. When you email Unisa, put your student number in the subject line and send each enquiry to one address only. How to contact UNISA by email
Unisa’s Contact Us page has an email form with categories for applications and registrations, assignments, examinations, study material, student accounts, myLife email, EUP1501 enquiries and myUnisa. All fields are compulsory, and Unisa asks you to send one enquiry at a time so there is no confusion about who must respond. Its Student Enquiries page adds that if you email a Unisa address directly, you should insert your student number in the subject line so the email is routed to an advisor, and send your enquiry to one email address only, or it may be delayed or treated as spam. Only escalate to the Registrar or Deputy Registrar if an enquiry could not be resolved at other levels. Unisa says all application, registration and study information is on unisa.ac.za, and fee payments and examination information are available on the website and myUnisa (my.unisa.ac.za).
Exam and postgraduate enquiry emails
For examinations, Unisa’s Student Enquiries page lists these Examination Administration mailboxes, alongside exams@unisa.ac.za: aegrotats@unisa.ac.za, remark@unisa.ac.za, purchasescript@unisa.ac.za, examadmission@unisa.ac.za, examdisabled@unisa.ac.za and examinternational@unisa.ac.za. Choose the one whose name matches your query, such as a remark or a script purchase, rather than emailing several. For postgraduate study, master’s and doctoral enquiries go to mandd@unisa.ac.za, exemptions to adhoccredits@unisa.ac.za, and access and matriculation exemption to ame@unisa.ac.za. Honours enquiries have college mailboxes, including artshons@unisa.ac.za, sciencehons@unisa.ac.za, econhons@unisa.ac.za, eduhons@unisa.ac.za, lawhons@unisa.ac.za and cashons@unisa.ac.za.

UNISA offices near you: regional centres

Unisa’s Western Cape region says its regional head office is in Parow, Cape Town, and serves about 30,000 students, with a regional service centre in George. At the Cape Town Campus, the same number, 021 936 4114, takes you to academic support (option 2), the library (option 3) and counselling (option 4). Unisa’s main campuses are Muckleneuk Campus on Preller Street, Pretoria; Sunnyside Campus at the corner of Justice Mohammed and Steve Biko streets; and the Unisa Science Campus in Florida.
