Mondo is a South African brand selling both mobile and internet deals and financial and insurance products. Those are two different licensed businesses sharing one brand, and they have two different telephone numbers. Dialling the wrong one is the most common reason a Mondo query goes slowly. Everything below was read from the Mondo contact page on 31 August 2026.
Official contact channels
- Mondo Mobile – phone, SIM only and internet deals: 0861 238 888
- Mondo Financial – insurance and financial products: 0861 586 284
- Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00
- Online: the Send us a message form on mondo.co.za, and a Track My Application route
Mondo works on a call-back model rather than a queue, describing its service as no dialling tone and no waiting around. The online form asks you to pick the nature of your enquiry from two options – phone, SIM only and internet deals, or financial and insurance products – which is the same split as the two phone numbers. Choose correctly and the call-back comes from a team that can actually help.
What this organisation provides
On the connectivity side, Mondo sells phone contract deals, SIM only deals and internet deals across the Vodacom, MTN and Telkom networks, including handset deals by brand. On the financial side it offers life cover, funeral cover, legal cover, healthcare and medical gap cover, and motor warranty products.
Because Mondo resells contracts on other operators networks, a network fault is not a Mondo matter. Coverage problems, data speeds and network outages belong to Vodacom, MTN or Telkom, whichever your contract runs on. Mondo handles the sale, the contract and the billing relationship it has with you.
Before contacting Mondo, have your application or account reference, your identity number, and for a connectivity query the cellphone number on the contract. For an insurance query, have the policy number and the name of the product.
Address and operating information
Mondo publishes office hours of Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00, and does not list Saturday, Sunday or public holiday cover. It does not publish a street address for customer visits – the business is sold and serviced remotely, so the form and the call-back are the practical routes.
The corporate structure matters if you ever need to name the company formally. Mondo publishes that Rewardsco Group is the licensed controlling company of Mondo Connect (Pty) Ltd, Mondo Mobile (Pty) Ltd and Mondo Financial (Pty) Ltd, and that applicable companies in the group are authorised financial services providers. A complaint about an insurance product is against Mondo Financial, not against the Mondo brand generally.
Support and escalation routes
Mondo publishes a Complaints Policy on its own site, and that is the process to follow first. Submit the complaint in writing through the message form so the record is dated, and keep the reference.
If it is unresolved, the forum depends on which side of the business is involved:
- Mobile, SIM and internet contracts: ICASA, 012 568 3000, [email protected]
- Insurance and financial products: National Financial Ombud Scheme, 0860 800 900, [email protected]
- Poor advice on a financial product: FAIS Ombud, 012 762 5000, [email protected]
Name the specific Mondo company from the group structure above when you escalate. Mondo also publishes a Conflict of Interest Management policy and a PAIA policy, both of which are relevant if your complaint concerns how a product was recommended to you.
