OUTsurance splits its business insurance contact by task rather than by product, so the number you need depends on whether you are buying, changing something or claiming.

Product or service support
Business cover is grouped into business motor, covering commercial vehicles, motorcycles, buses, trailers, caravans and private vehicles; general business insurance for premises, equipment, stock and staff; and business liability. On top of those sit industry specific products for fleets, agriculture, engineering, motor traders, hospitality and contractors all risk.
Eligibility, account or policy requirements
Client care runs Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 18:00, Friday 08:00 to 18:00, Saturday 08:00 to 13:00 and public holidays 08:00 to 17:00. Claims run Monday to Friday 07:00 to 18:00 with the same weekend hours. The international line runs later on weekdays, to 19:00 Monday to Thursday. Claims can also be sent to cc@out.co.za. Business cover is quoted per operation rather than sold off a rate card, so a quote needs the detail of what the business does.
Escalation route
Non-life business cover is underwritten by OUTsurance Insurance Company Limited, registration number 1994/010719/06, a licensed non-life insurer and financial services provider. Complaints about advice or conduct go to compliance@out.co.za or +27 12 688 6800, and from there to the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900, with the Financial Sector Conduct Authority regulating the licence. Report suspected fraud on 08 601 02 117 or reportfraud@out.co.za. Note that the anonymous whistleblowing line 0800 204 855 is independently managed by an outside company and is not an OUTsurance service line.
