What Stash by Liberty provides
Stash is a tax-free investment you run from a free app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Liberty describes it as having no forms and no minimums. What the Stash page says about how it works:
- Fees: from 1 March 2025 you pay a once-off fee of 2.5% per contribution. You earn it back as a loyalty bonus in the tax-free investment if you do not withdraw that money within 12 months.
- Boost your Stash: add up to R1000 per month.
- Cashing out: withdraw directly from the app into your connected bank card.
- Portfolios: past-performance downloads are published for the Cash+ Portfolio and the SA Top 40 Shares Portfolio.
- Stash For Kids: a tax-free option for children.
