Standard Bank publishes no telephone number specific to the Revolving Loan, which it also calls the Revolving Credit Plan. Limit changes are designed to be done in Online Banking or the Banking App rather than by telephone.

Product or service support
In Online Banking the path is the Borrow tab, then the Revolving Credit Plan tile, then Increase My Limit. In the Banking App it is the More tile, then Open a new account, then Personal Lending, then Revolving Loan, then See what you can get, then Increase Limit. On the app an approved increase is paid out immediately; online you are shown an estimated quote first and then complete the steps.
Eligibility, account or policy requirements
Both routes require you to complete an affordability assessment before a new limit is offered. That is a requirement of the National Credit Act rather than a bank preference, which is why a limit cannot be raised over the telephone on the strength of good account conduct alone, and why the outcome may be lower than the amount you ask for.
Escalation route
A Revolving Loan is not an overdraft, although the two are often confused and Standard Bank documents them together. The overdraft limit is changed on a different path, through the Transact tab and Manage in Online Banking, or at an AutoPlus ATM. If the bank does not resolve a complaint, use the complaint resolution centre on 0860 101 101, then the National Financial Ombud on 0860 800 900 for the banking conduct, or the National Credit Regulator on 0860 627 627 for the credit agreement itself.
