It is a resort, not only a casino
The property trades as Emerald Resort & Casino, and much of what people book there has nothing to do with gaming: hotel rooms, family attractions, conferencing and functions.
- Say what you are booking when you call. Accommodation, an event and a gaming query go to different desks.
- Age restrictions apply to the casino floor even where the wider resort is family oriented. Ask what under 18s can and cannot access.
- A loyalty or rewards query is a group matter, not a property one, since the programme runs across Tsogo Sun venues.
- Vanderbijlpark is in the Vaal, about an hour south of Johannesburg. It is not a Johannesburg venue, whatever a listing implies.
Booking, deposits and complaints
Confirm banking details by phone before paying a function or event deposit. Intercepted invoices with substituted account numbers are a persistent fraud, and event deposits are large.
