• 1. Choose your claim type on the Assupol website and submit online, or download the documents and email them to claimsregistration@assupol.co.za or take them to your nearest branch.
• 2. Once all documents are submitted, you get an SMS confirming receipt.
• 3. Assupol says a valid claim is approved within 24 hours if all required documents are in, and a valid funeral benefit is paid within 24 hours of receiving all documents.

Claim types include death claims, Cashback claims after three or four years of an active policy, depending on the policy, withdrawals from savings policies after the first five years, and maturity claims. All two-pot claims must be submitted through the Assupol Client Portal. If you receive a benefit payment and are unsure why, call 0861 235 664.

Assupol calls these withdrawal claim forms rather than surrender forms. Its claims page provides the savings withdrawal claim form, the Assupol One Tax Free withdrawal form and the recurring withdrawal form. Customers can also claim online at assupol.co.za/claims/savings-withdrawal.
