OUTsurance does not publish a human resources telephone number or an HR mailbox. Applications go through the vacancies portal on its own site and nowhere else — and the company says plainly why that matters.

How to reach OUTsurance about a job

The absence is deliberate rather than an oversight. Every application, every status query and every offer runs through the portal, which is what makes an approach from any other channel worth a second look.

OUTsurance publishes a recruitment scam warning

The careers page carries its own notice: recruitment scams are rife, and the company sets out red flags to watch for when applying for a job. Read that page before responding to anything that looks like an OUTsurance job offer. The pattern is consistent across the industry — an approach on WhatsApp or a jobs board, an interview that never happens in person, and then a request for money.

• A real employer never asks a candidate to pay for training, uniforms, a criminal check, a laptop or a placement fee.
• Check the sender domain. Correspondence about an OUTsurance role comes from the company’s own domain, not from a free mail account.
• If an offer arrives without an application, treat it as fake. OUTsurance recruits from the portal, so an offer for a job you never applied for did not come from OUTsurance.

Payroll, leave and benefits queries go through internal systems rather than any published external number, and a former employee needing a certificate of service or an IRP5 should approach through the same careers channel, quoting the employee number. The 08 600 60 000 line is a customer service centre for policyholders and will redirect an HR query rather than answer it.
