The Hollard contact number for funeral, life and legal insurance is 0800 935 465, a toll-free line for both general enquiries and claims, with general email to mypolicy@hollard.co.za. Hollard’s head office central number is 0861 000 107, or +27 11 351 5000 from outside South Africa, at 22 Oxford Road, Parktown, Johannesburg. Funeral claims can also be started on Hollard’s 24/7 WhatsApp claims bot at 087 058 6280. Hollard no longer services car, home, pet or extended car warranty insurance itself: those customers are sent to Dotsure. Hollard’s contact page prints the international Investments number as “+27 351 5000”, which is missing the 11 area code. The head office section of the same page, and the branches page, give it in full as +27 11 351 5000, so dial that.
Hollard WhatsApp number for funeral claims
Hollard’s Funeral Cover policyholder page offers a WhatsApp claims bot, available 24/7: send a WhatsApp to 087 058 6280 to begin a chat and submit a funeral claim. Hollard does not list a WhatsApp number for other products on its contact page. For a funeral claim you need the Direct Funeral Claims Form (FICA), your funeral policy number and ID number, banking details, and a copy of the DHA-1663 notice of death. If the main policyholder has died, the beneficiary listed on the policy submits the claim, or otherwise the next of kin, meaning a spouse, parent or child. The funeral claims call centre on 0800 935 465 is open Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 and Fridays 08:00 to 16:30.
Hollard self-service portal and policy check
Hollard’s For Policyholders section lets you access your insurance policies, view policy details, request changes and report or track claims for Funeral Cover, Life Cover, My Life and More, Critical Illness, Disability and Impairment, and Legal Expenses Cover. The Hollard Customer Portal, at hollard.co.za/client-portal, is where you view policy details, download documents, submit claims and track claim status. Hollard Investments clients use a separate secure portal at online.hollardinvestments.co.za. If you cannot find what you need, Hollard’s Policy Administration and Claims team is on 0800 935 465 or mypolicy@hollard.co.za. Customers with a Hollard Life Select policy who have queries on a retirement annuity, cash back or educator benefit should contact the Life Insurance team.
Hollard car and pet insurance contact number
Hollard’s car, home and pet insurance pages now say that for a car, extended car warranty, home contents, buildings or pet insurance quote, you go to Dotsure Limited, a separate licensed non-life insurer in which Hollard has a shareholding. Dotsure’s contact page lists 0861 368 7873, u2us@dotsure.co.za and 127A York Street, George, with live chat, WhatsApp, a Manage Portal for logging queries, and a call-me-back option. Check your policy schedule first: if your insurer is Dotsure, Hollard’s 0800 935 465 line is not the right number.

Hollard complaints and customer service forms
Hollard’s contact page has three online forms, Send an enquiry, Send a complaint and Compliment us, and says its team responds to each within 48 business hours. For a complaint, Hollard asks you to give as many details as possible for a fair and quick resolution.
