Old Mutual iWYZE contact number
iWYZE’s website uses one number, 0860 93 94 93, for its Emergency, Call Us and Send HELP options, for notifying a claim, and for questions about what your policy covers. The iWYZE Contact page describes 0860 93 94 93 as the one number to remember in an emergency, for its road and home emergency service. If you would rather be called, the Call me back form asks for your name and surname, cellphone number, the reason (quotes, claims, customer care or complaints), the product, such as car, home contents, buildings, life, legal, business, scratch and dent, or tyre and rim cover, and a message. iWYZE is part of Old Mutual: its short-term insurance is underwritten by Old Mutual Insure Limited, and its life and funeral policies by Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (South Africa) Limited.
iWYZE claims
iWYZE asks you to notify it of a claim as soon as possible, on 0860 93 94 93, on WhatsApp, or by requesting a claim call back on iwyze.co.za/claim. For all claims, have your iWYZE policy number, your ID number and any relevant documents ready. For car, homeowners, household contents and value-added products, you also need a SAPS case number if applicable. For business claims, you need a SAPS case number where applicable and certified financial results for business interruption claims. For life claims, iWYZE asks you or your beneficiary questions about the full circumstances of the incident. You must provide the information within the period the agent specifies, and existing customers can log and track claims in the wyzeHUB app.
wyzeHUB app and emergencies
iWYZE says that on wyzeHUB you can download your policy document or confirmation of cover, do a vehicle self-inspection with your phone, ask for a call back to add cover, and track your claims. In a road or home emergency, you can sign in to request help through the SOS service, live-track the help on a map and chat to the responder on the way. If you need a vehicle inspection centre or an HIV test location for a life policy, the Contact page has a Find a service provider tool that shows Autoboys vehicle inspection centres near your address.
iWYZE complaints process
iWYZE’s complaints process says to email complaints@iwyze.co.za with your contact number and the nature of the complaint. iWYZE acknowledges the complaint, gives you its investigation timelines, keeps you informed and does not charge for complaining. If you are not satisfied with the outcome, its Objections Team reviews the matter at claimobjections@iwyze.co.za. If you are still not satisfied, the external dispute bodies it lists are the National Financial Ombud Scheme (0860 800 900, info@nfosa.co.za) and, for advice complaints, the FAIS Ombud (012 762 5000, info@faisombud.co.za).
